Drinking coffee is good for your heart

Caffeine is a methylxanthine found in a variety of products including cafe. Coffee is the predominant source of caffeine in the Western hemisphere. Several studies have suggested that in a healthy person, caffeine can actually improve the way the heart responds to exercise.
Study by Bruce Hardy in 1999, found that in patients with normal blood pressure, a dose of caffeine can help the heart handle exercise by slowing the heart rate reducing blood pressure and thus easing the work load on the heart.

An Iowa Women’s Health Study found that one to three cups of coffee lowered their risk of heart disease by 24 percent. Women who drank four to five cups a day were 33 percent less likely to die from any inflammatory disease.
